Workshop Three: "Warm" the Cold Call


You want to avoid ever making a truly “cold” call. The first meeting with a prospect must be planned, or you will often waste time. This workshop takes you through key steps in planning that first call so that you can avoid the “seller/buyer dance” and turn a cold call into a “warm” one. It will show you how to create do-able goals as well as how to stay flexible in case you have to change goals based on what the prospect does or says in that first meeting. It talks about what you know and what you need to know before you make the call. Key, also, is how to script your opening comment. Finally, it touches on attitude issues that must be overcome to help you make the first meeting a successful one.
