Workshop Two: Scripts to Get Invited


In order to sell, you must be able to get to your prospect. You need an invitation. To get that invitation, you need to be able to write and deliver a message that is personal, unique, and compelling. This workshop will show you how to write a letter, phone script, or email that will get the prospect’s attention and get the result you want. You will learn how to tell about your product or service in a way that is energized and compelling. Most important, you will learn how to differentiate yourself with your first contact with the prospect. You will discover how to present an outcome rather than a product or service. You will also see how to use the "contract" approach to get a commitment from a prospect. You will learn about “implied reasons” and “relationship bridges” as parts of a script or letter. You will also see how to write scripts for callbacks, requests for a call, and an appeal to the gatekeeper.
